Usually good tap selection

Cajun crawfish queso is a must

Tomato pie and meat pie are both great

Had the boudin burger which was good not great. I’d probably try the hwy 1 or pimento cheese next time if I’m craving a burger

Red beans & rice is top-notch. Fried chicken was meh
their crawfish bisque is more like a sauce piquante
Cherry hand pie & chocolate cream pie were very good

I went last week for the first time and the food was great.

The pies take a while to cook so you may want to order your desert when you order your entree.

I recommend the seafood pie if they have it. It was an off menu special when went. The fig pie and apple pie were very good as well.

Went and I had a good meal, fried chicken was nice and tender, very good crust on it as well.

Everything was delicious. The lemon hand pie was my favorite.

Been 5 times now. Don’t go if you’re on a diet .. but it’s fantastic

Crawfish queso is great, as is the red bean hummus. All of the melts are good, and the tomato pie is too, but the chicken and andouille pie is the best thing I’ve had so far. So so so good.

Took my daughter for dessert there. Chocolate pie was really good. Warm lemon hand pie was delicious but small. Everyone around us was cleaning their plates so I figured it was pretty good.

I've been a few times and I really like it.

The meat pies to me were better than Lasyone's in Natchitoches (!) The crawfish bisque was also amazing.

I didn't like their LA Poulet pie at all as I thought it was way too salty. The cherry hand pie was a bit disappointing but okay.

The positives outweigh the negatives for me. I plan on going back.

Plate and Pie*

It’s very good. Unique concept in the city and well executed more often than not.
