At beach this week and listening to local sports talk. SEC commentator states that until LSU gets rid of Alleva that it will be a middle of the road program. Goes on to say that all the coaches and agents of any substance know to avoid Baton Rouge because of him. He verbalized that “the people beneath you and program are only as good as your leader”! Went on further to say that the program will be unstable until LSU decides to make a change.

They were 100% correct. Until we get rid of him we are on a teeter totter.

My biggest fear is we lose Wade in a year or two afte rhe has a great season or two because Alleva refuses to pay him or wont upgrade the facilities.

I’m glad the local sports radio guy in DESTIN FLORIDA and his opinion are so valued here.

Not a fan of Alleva but c’mon, Bill King and Mr. 30-A deserve mentioning because they bad mouth Joe?

It's sad that this is being talked about outside of Baton Rouge. It shows our President and Board of Supervisors are a collective joke.

Local sports talk in that area is trash. They pretty much regurgitate anything they see off twitter or hear someone else talk about.

Not that I disagree with the point.

Glad to see that outsiders are finally catching on to how bad Alleva is holding this program back.

Good thing is, that dummy tied his career to Ed Orgeron.

fricking halarious

Coaches and agents of any substance: "no, no I will not take your 6 million dollars per year for a contractual period of 5 years because of Alleva"

Dude if you are at Destin and you are spending your time listening to local sports talk radio, you aren't doing "beach" right.

That commentator expressed an opinion.
If football coaches were the only measure, Jeremy Foley would be a failure.
LSU’s hoops program is on the rise; baseball and softball have outstanding leadership; gymnastics is elite. Facilities are great and improving.
Women’s hoops needs new leadership which will come.
The Destin guy has no clue regarding agents. Agents are supposed to represent their clients and LSU is still a destination job with resources to pay for a great coach.

I never have liked Alleva. Coming from Duke a basketball school, I knew he'd never appreciate or understand the importance of football-the money, the tradition, economic impact. He doesn't "get" the sec & still doesn't. He should have been gone long time ago!

Whatever you do, don’t listen to that station (100.3) at 4 pm weekdays. Scott Moore is the biggest gump in the area and he only talks Alabama even though he says it’s We talk SEC. In the morning, Jake Mitchell actually does a good job talking sports but he’s a Falcon Fan.
