The Tony's More Spice is slightly less though, 290mg per serving.

I much prefer Leblanc's Creole seasoning over those two and others.

Salt, pepper & garlic as it’s own entities will always taste better than this stuff.

If you're looking for less salt, try Geaux Creole.

The hot one is the best, but they're all much better than Tony's, which is bitter.
Jack Miller's is good too, but I prefer SYM
when I use this type of BBQ sauce I go with Pig Stand Hot over Jack Miller's

SYM has a low sodium line that is VERY good. I find Tony’s too salty & has an after taste. My favorite is T-Boys Garlic season all. Someone mentioned the Targill products, stuff a roast & fry seasoning, those have too much msg, or some other additive, that immediately makes my tongue feel “funny” when I use them.

I don't understand this. Do people use Tony's and salt at the same time? When I use Tony's, SYM, whatever I use it in place of salt. So unless Tony's is more salty than salt I don't think it can be too salty.

Yeah I use it in place of salt as a topping on stuff. I put it and hot sauce on almost everything.

I think they mean that the proportion of salt to other seasonings in the mix is too damn high.

DIY. Lots of recipes out there and you can tweak it as you please (less salt, etc.). Using better quality spices (Penzey’s or similar) really makes homemade much better.
