Why do 8 out of every 10 we all pass on the road have a front running light winking at us? Pretty big domestic vehicle turnoff.

Are you inferring that they always have one bulb out? That’s more to do with the cheap arse or lazy arse not fixing it

Had an early 2000s Chevy that still had the original bulbs in the running lights and were both still working at 120k. Should have kept that truck I guess.

There is some kind of issue with those damn marker lights. I had two Suburbans in a row that always had one burned out for some unknown reason.

Protip for you baws. I had a GM Quality manager tell me to check the sticker of the GM truck/SUV that you are looking to purchase. If made in Jaynesville, Wisconsin, buy it. If made in Mexico, never, never get that vehicle. I bought a 2002 Suburban made in Jaynesville and sold it 12 years later with 165,000 miles with only routine mainetanance. GM dude knew his stuff. I’ve had a number of Tahoe’s, Yukon’s and GMC trucks since and always check that assembly location.

They've had that problem since they first introduced DRLs on trucks in 99 IIRC. Never gave enough shits to fix it. I just unplugged mine

Because the engines last longer than the bulbs.

Are you judging an entire platform on the reliability of a bulb that GM doesn't even manufacture?

Then that is why all the police departments use them for their officer vehicles.
