Single engine equals single point of failure. No thanks! Put twin 250 S on it, maybe?

None are forsale now, those were 2-3 years ago and reflect a repower in their future. Having said that, you need an intervention paying that much money for a glorified sand bar boat. Buddy has one on order 34vh with delivery sometime in 2019. Those are north of $400k and still not worth it IMO.

You think a Freeman is a glorified sand bar boat?

All of the top-hot boat mfgr's are doing this churn and burn. Order boat, take delivery, order next boat at delivery of first boat, sell first boat at delivery of second boat, wash, rinse, repeat. Musical boats using real money and hope the music doesn't stop while you are holding two boats. Buddy sold his Calcutta for damn near what he paid for it 7 years previous. Low interest rates and stupid terms have done to boats what govt loans have done to college costs.

My buddy upgraded his YF20' to the YF32' the same way. That 32 is nice for a run out to the rigs or the islands.

It looks REALLY nice. I'm sure it's a fantastic display of design and craftsmanship. On the same note, I can get a bigger twin powered boat for that price and I just dont see the appeal of these 65k+ 22+ft shallow draft bay boats.

Wouldn't be surprised if they leased it for dirt cheap to a charter fisherman or someone that fishes almost daily for 6 months to get some feedback. Then sell it with a nice profit still.

Now for commercial use I can see it making sense. Clients will pay to bring more friends and fish in more luxury. Nobody wants to pay to send their customers on a charter on a shitty tub.

Guy bought on a 15 year note or paid cash and is flipping it because his second is coming out of the mold now. Would bet most of those hrs are trolling or at idle. The new catch phrase boat is HYBRID; a boat that does nothing well that cost a lot. Avenger, See Vee, Carvelle, PathFinder, Barker, ect are making these and most are sold in Florida where they can hit the GS 10 miles out. That 8' pp on the Barker is to anchor up at the sand bar.

Come on dude, a freeman may not be what it's made out to be, but a "glorified sand bar boat"? That's laughable.

do you really not think they are what they are made out to be. You can put it on auto pilot 90% of gulf days and point it 200 miles in any direction.

Reread and get back to me, Barker-Hybred bay boats can be found at sand bars, Freeman’s will be found way deeper with blood on the decks.
