LoL at the people who think we are the only intelligent life forms in that mass. It’s a statistical near certainty that we are not alone.

Crazy to think about but there has to be civilizations in galaxies we’ll never know about due to sheer distance and time it takes to get to them

We could get there but the airline lobby in DC holds it back.

It's amazing to know somewhere, out there, someone is posting that their scientists are FOS as well.

And to think that God created you in his image. We are not insignificant though it may seem that way when you look up at the stars.
God created us.
God has a plan for each of us.
God is here with us.
Food for thought for the thinking man or woman.

That isn't food for thought.
That's just silly.
That's just silly.

And that’s just one galaxy out of billions.
No way intelligent life exists elsewhere. Nope. Not a chance.

If the Universe turns out to be infinite, it's you doing it an infinite number of times.

We're not alone, but what I find interesting is that this universe is so "fine tuned" for life that the best explanation science can offer for it is infinite universes.
"Our universe is just one infinitesimal component amid this vast – probably infinite – multiverse, that itself had no origin in time. So according to this new cosmological theory, there was something before the big bang after all – a region of the multiverse pregnant with universe-sprouting potential.
A refinement of the multiverse scenario is that each new universe comes complete with its very own laws – or bylaws, to use the apt description of the cosmologist Martin Rees. Go to another universe, and you would find different bylaws applying. An appealing feature of variegated bylaws is that they explain why our particular universe is uncannily bio-friendly; change our bylaws just a little bit and life would probably be impossible. The fact that we observe a universe "fine-tuned" for life is then no surprise"

Makes you wonder how wild the other planet’s O-T lounges are.
Posted on 6/3/18 at 12:20 am to jbgleason
Actually, it's the opposite. I have an article that goes through the odds of life developing after the Big Bang. The odds are almost infinitely great against it. That is why the multi-verse, or multiple universe theory was postulated.

I wonder how many of those galaxies suffer from racial or other social leftist tension.
