I'm in my late 20s. I guess that's late to have your first heartbreak. I've never felt this kind of pain before.
It hurts now but it would be 10x more painful had y'all gotten married and had kids.

Was she asking for all your passwords and monitoring your life? You should have run when that shite started.

Everybody has past experiences.

Quite true. My saving grace was getting my hands on the best attorney I could find. Got custody of the kids since she abandoned. The lawyer has been known to get husbands alimony. Wasn't interested in that, but was interested in giving her as little as possible of what I had busted my arse to make while she sat on hers. Came out very good there.

The biggest emotional shock was that she acted like the 29 years (27 married) never happened. I finally got to where I did not personalize that (took a while). Meanwhile, she is living with some old coot who is 70. She is already making plans as to moving back to Louisiana after he dies (COLD BITCH). I have already made plans that she does not move back under my roof.

Want to hear a small victory? About two years after she left, I came into my own financially very comfortably. I have heard she resents it but she can't do one goddamned thing about it except cry. May she enjoy her poverty.

Dated a girl for four years. She broke up with me out of the blue. I was crushed. Four years later and I've been with dozens of other girls/dated a handful of those girls and I still think about that girl.

That's life brah. Life aint fair. Time to move on.

I've never forgot any of them I was serious with regardless of whom initiated the breakup. Saw something special once and you don't really forget that.

Pageant girls are usually high maintenance social climbers. Count your blessings

Keep in mind that the only difference between beauty pageants and dog shows are the number of legs on the contestants.

That said, the dog is frequently the more honorable creature.

I've been with 30+ women since that girl and still only think about her. I wonder why that is. Weird as hell.

The mother of my child left me and went to live with an ex the day after. With my child. Fought like hell to get him away but the law didn’t care. Ensuing depression caused me to lose 40 pounds but in the end it was all absolutely worth it. I got the last laugh as well as making myself a better man and father.

Wait until 30 years later. They had Playboy bodies back then. Now they go about 200-plus.

20 years ago, I got dumped cold by a girl I'd been with for 3.5 years. It sucked. Just brutal and awful.

True heartbreak is like a death, so you actually mourn the loss like a death. You also can't avoid the pain, you only delay it. You eventually have to deal with it or it will deal with you and frick up future relationships.

It was a good five years before I was completely over it. Sure I had meaningful relationships in the interim but it was probably five years before I was able to truly see that the relationship I was mourning wasn't all that great in reality.

However, none of that matters when you feel like crap after getting deported to Dumpsville.

Sorry for your loss, OP.

Better days ahead, as they say.

Damn man. Sorry to hear. I have no advice. It's gonna suck for a long time but it won't be the end of you.

If he tries speeding through a 20mph residential zone, or leaving his boat in the driveway for 30 days or more, it could very well be the end.
