I lost mine a few months ago. He was in his 70s.

I feel for you brother and send you prayers.

Regardless of circumstances, it cuts deep.

After my dad died my brothers and I talked often, although we lived in different states. Most of the talks were along the lines, "remember the time he "

It is tough losing a parent and may he rest in peace.

That's tough brother, I lost mine to cancer 12 years ago and think of him daily.

If you have kids do what you can to pass on the good parenting it sounds like your dad gave you.

God Bless You

Sorry for your loss as well. Hate to see someone parents die. My father died entirely too early in his early 50's. Glad you got to spend time with him.

Good son, every parents dream come true to have their loved ones by their side. Sorry for your loss, the inevitable is tough on us all. Remember him and tell your grandkids his story

Sorry for the loss of your hero.

It's a great thing your parents did in planning this ahead of time, the funerals. You are correct in finding a bit of solace in this. One of the toughest things is having to sit down and arrange this after the fact which I had to do for a sibling.

Bless you and your family.

I am sorry for your loss, but I hope you find peace knowing he is no longer hurting from the fight. He went ten full rounds with the devil on this one, and your dad came out on top.
