Knowing this still won't make my trek across the causeway any less boring

A ferry doing 40km an hour is pretty impressive.

Its not about the mileage but the amount of time you are stuck in traffic on it...

Oh cool!!! I have to work in both places later this Summer! I was thinking the ferry was my best option. Still probably is, so I don't have to rent a car.

I'll get some pics for you guys.

Even more reason for Chinese people to gamble.

This is old news. Guinness already came out and rewarded Causeway with longest continuous stretch over water record, and this one is in a different category due to the tunnel.

BTW, why is my GE Gold series fridge leaking water at the ice maker? I have frozen water underneath the ice bucket and without breaking it out every couple of days it will fill all the voided area underneath. Gasket issues?

Technically it is two bridges and a tunnel.

Causeway record stands.

Looks like a people ferry rather than a car/truck ferry. I suppose bikes or scooters could fit on that.

I rode that hydrofoil ferry to Macau in the 90's when it was new. It has tall back seats like an airplane and hot arse Chinese women stewardesses (?) that came around and took drink orders.

That boat hauled arse.

The causeway is the longest continuous bridge over water. The longest over all is a bridge in China that is about 330% longer than the causeway. On overall length, this will drop the causeway to 9th place.

Holy shite, that really is the ferry I guess something called a turbojet made by Boeing would be pretty fast.
