Ponchatoula to Kenner is longer than the Causeway if we're counting it like that.

Your inlet valve on the back has sediment build up causing water to constantly come out.
Or
Your icemaker is failing and sending power to the inlet valve at all times allowing water in.
Or
Your icemaker internal timer is opening the water valve too long. .
I'd check for voltage at the water coils, Id none then they are the problem, if voltage is present at all, then replace icemaker.
The first issue is most common.

Nap, the bridge itself on the Macao side is less than 20 miles long and then it gets to a 5 mile long tunnel in the middle of the channel.
The entire bridge/tunnel/bridge system is 34 miles long.

If you're talking about the Manchac bridge on I-55, it's 22.8mi, 1,732 feet shorter than the causeway.

Problem with the I-10 I-55 combo as a "bridge" is that while it is entirely elevated, it is NOT entirely above water, or even watery marsh. Key land areas include north of Pass Manchac, the I-55/I-10 interchange north of Laplace, and both sides of the Bonnet Carre spillway.
Another thing is that the only reason it's over "water" for much of its route was that it was easier to build it by dredging a canal and floating stuff in by barge. Look at aerial photos or look close when you drive it-- the only "water" (other than the spillway area, where it actually passes over the edge of Lake Pontchartrain) is in the areas below/around the elevated roadway itself.

that bridge/tunnel isn't 34 miles long, it's 34 KILOMETERS long!!!!!! which roughly equates to 21 miles and a bit!!!

I have lived in BR almost all of my life and have been across the Causeway exactly once, and that was when I was a little kid and I still remember that thing scaring the shite out of me because you are so close to the water.

1-55 / I-10 is longer that the Causeway, but for some reason it doesn’t count.

You could contest that swamp and marsh are water. Other than the interchange part, it is technically over water the entire time

I was just going by the length on wikipedia which says it's only 3.35mi long. I guess they're only counting the part over open water or something.
