Let the Patriots take him please god. The farther he falls the more nervous I’d get.

Side not: I could honestly see us getting a ransom from Cleveland if they love a guy and want to trade up really bad at 27. Could potentially get 2 second round picks. Because they’re the Browns

I would scratch my head and be skeptical, but wait to see how it plays out. I trust the people the Saints have evaluating draft talent after last year's home run draft. These guys know a lot better than I, or any other anonymous internet posters, do about these players. I will be skeptical, but reserve judgement until I see the product on the field.

I don’t think the Pats are as into him as being reported. Seems like a for sale sign on one of their picks

If the QBs go quick, he may not make it out the teens. Teams will panic

I wouldn't mind seeing what he could do with Jackson.

Remind me....did LJ say he wasn't interested in doing anything but playing QB? I know there was talk about just getting the ball in his and let his athletic ability take over, but I also seem to recall that he said he just wants to play qb.

People may end up trading back their saints hats for hoods again. It'll be incredible.

I see him going the RG3 route. Great rookie year then meh with injuries taking a toll.

This makes no sense.

For one, RGIII was reportedly way too cocky and a bigger prima dona than most knew according to listening to Chris Cooley on the radio here around D.C.

Second, Mike Shanahan ran him into the ground his rookie season in that playoff game after his ACL was already torn. He let him stay in that game.

The extent of his injuries could have been reduced. Couple that with his writing out his demands without speaking a word after calling an all coaches meeting pushed him out.

It means he has very nice arm strength with the elusiveness to run the ball and break a few tackles if he needs to yet lacks being a hulking mass of a qb of 6’5 250 that can absorb repeated blows.

Not sure I see the hyperbole.

I was being sarcastic - what I meant was that cam’s size is actually his biggest talent

I will swallow my anger, desperately hope that I'm wrong about the guy, and root for him as hard as I can

Against fast teams, Lamar wasn’t as good. The entire NFL is fast.

Ah draft time. Where Tiggerdroppings posters always have more knowledge than the NFL draft experts who get paid to do it for a living.

I would be excited I'm a Lamar Jackson fan. I think he needs to sit a year or two and have some things cleaned up but the arm talent and legs are there

You can't clean or teach stupid. He will be a bust! I will be shocked if we draft him.
