re: Best driving route to Omaha

55 to St. Louis, 70 to Kansas City, then 29 to Omaha. I have gone this way twice and it's good, but a friend of mine just drove up there and he went 55 to Memphis then Jonosboro AR to Springfield MO then Kansas city then Omaha.

Does not have to be at TD just somewhere near by. I would have to think some LSU fans drive up in their RV's.

R V parking lot in Omaha

Is there a certain park or lot LSU fans use if so where is it located and about how much does it cost?
Do they still have the big block party there every night with the other bars? It was like that in 2000 bunch of crazy drunk hot college girls from all over the country!
I tried off Airline by Laplace and on the concrete pier that goes out into Lake Pontchartrain today from 9am to 1pm and did not get a bite & no one else was catching anything either.

The only 2 places I ever caught fish at in Galveston from land is Sea Wolf Park and the 61st street pier. IMO Louisiana fishing is 1000% better than Texas.

Note I don't have a boat I just fish from the shore or piers.

I keep getting these post on facebook saying it's legal to take the class online. Does anyone know if that is right or just BS?

zillow is not a good site to determine appraised values!

Noveske saw them online cheapest one is $1800 way outside my price range. I don't think I would buy one online without putting my hands on one just like it somewhere.

A good friend in a MP in the Army and has tons of time using AR's in Iraq. He said He likes the Rock River guns, but I think they maybe a bit over my price range Which is under $800 or $900.

Is it ok to ask this board if someone has one they might want to part with? I don't want to break any rules.

Thanks for all the info!

My cousin whom used to have a FFL for a long time and is a gun person told me to get the colt since it is good and would be easy to sell.

This is great but I don't want to sell it.

I plan on going back to a gun show to buy with cash to save money. They had a lot of DPMS, PSA and others. Most of those guns all had sights and flash lights and free bags.

They had a complete rock river lower with a Yankee Hill upper there with a lot of extra stuff on it for $725 I came very close to buying it, but just worried I am going to get screwed over.

What would you guys think is the most accurate and reliable and light weight for under $800.

they had some palmetto state AR for $500 can't remember if it was both upper and lower.

Do you guys agree that it does not really matter what brand. I was trying to get something a little nicer than the Smith and Wesson.

AR 15 for beginner

I was at the gun show at Lamar Dixon yesterday and I spoke to several dealers. Most of them said it does not really matter that much on what brand of AR I want to buy. I think I will take it to the range maybe 6 times per year.

One of the dealers told me I could buy a kit that had Yankee hill upper and anderson aluminum lower for about $600.

I really don't know much about guns, but I want to buy an Ar any advise would be helpful.
