So if we all interact with 12 serial killers across our lifetime then there must be a lot of serial killers never caught.

I love the piney woods of east TX. Tyler is a cool town, but there are some weird people from that area.

Isn’t that where Bernie was from? The character that Jack Black played who was a killer?

take approx 300mls of air in the blood stream to cause something like this.

Yep. Not a small amount. Would an Air embolus not be an easy find on autopsy? I’m a nurse but not pathology.

Always love the end of Apt Pupil. A great Stephen king short story that made a mediocre movie. Spoiler......

Ole Baw sits in bed with his triple lumen central line (big IV placed under collar bone in chest) he uncaps one hub and blows into it like a straw!

Yep. That’d do it.

That's really scary stuff as a parent. You could raise your child as good as possible and they can still be destined to be a psychopath.

Texas has the death penalty and they use it frequently.

Lindale is proud of her. It's a nice little place of 5,000 people. Pretty strange thing to trigger you.

Bernie was in nearby Carthage, a much smaller town.

Tyler is a pretty nice small city. It's like a smaller version of Shreveport that is cleaner and has less crime.

Their rose festival and pageantry associated therewith are their Protestant version of Mardi Gras.

Another useless stat is most serial killers are born in November.

Are most really born in November or is it that November just so happens to be the one random month that has had more confirmed serial killers?

Big difference.

There needs to be a real crazy lunatic (that we know will never come out of the mental institution) we'll call him Leroy, in a room with a machete.

People like this guy, who do shite like this.. should be put in the room with Leroy and we just say.. "Get him Leroy".

Read the book Blind Eye by James B. Stewart. It is about a charming doctor who gets away with killing patients for years. He was well liked by people enough to have most convinced he didn’t do anything

Are they actually from Tyler or are they from the towns outside like Chapel Hill and Whitehouse?

I grew up in Tyler and most everyone I know was happy to escape. It's a great place if you have little kids or want to retire but past that? No thank you.

Oddly enough, in the area I live in Dallas there are about 6 other people I grew up with within 2 blocks. We all ran off to Dallas to escape but Tyler followed us anyway.
