I think Trump is doing a pretty good job, but why so much turnover in staff?

It seems like every few months some high ranking official or cabinet member is getting ousted, it can't all be general Kelly being a big ole meany or whatever....
What gives?

If you think he's doing a pretty good job, why does it matter?

Why keep the chaff?
Former pres kept all the third teamers and look where that got us.

It's called being president. He's holding people responsible for their actions and immediately finding replacements to keep the wheels turning. That's what leaders do.

I agree, his problem is that his picks wasn't good for polticical position.

Personal management style. Sours on people quickly. Believes they are there to implement his vision, which as a non-ideologue can change on a dime. Non-flexible people or ideologues likely to get frustrated with Trump quickly and he with them.

OR maybe...just maybe
He has a fricking plan.
Ya know. Like during the campaign. When he went from Roger Stone, to Manafort, to Kellyanne?
This guy is not going to let his staff get complacent. And I love it.

A political noob in DC should be expected to struggle with DC politics.
Dems are totally against him. Many Rs are totally against him.
It's an uphill battle.

He did what most politicians do in this particular case. Handed out favors to those who helped him get elected, then realized they're not ideal for what his vision is. It's not out of the norm. The media is just looking for any little thing to grasp at to try and spin his successes into negatives.

The Q thread has the answers you seek but I'm getting the feeling you probably aren't ready for that thread.

Nice. You meet with Trump regularly or something?

The political noob part is relative. But you knew that.

Go ahead and summarize it for us so we don’t have to search through 1,000 pages

Nope. That is a path that can only be walked on your own.

This was in the works for a while. Once the wheels are in motion to leave, most peoples hearts aren’t in it any longer so why drag out the inevitable.
With things moving so quickly, (NoKo) get the new guy involved ASAP.

This is a big fricking issue that will greatly hurt Trump in re-election. You just can’t have this amount of turnover and be a competent leader. Eventually his side is going to be asking questions on why everyone around Trump is resigning, but Trump himself isn’t. Republicans may start to fight Trump to make way for Pence, who might actually be ok at the job.
