Need professional moving company recommendation for Baton Rouge. Moving single story 3BR to 2 story 4BR. Moving less than 5 Miles from current home. A lot of mixed reviews on moving company’s when searching on google.

Disclaimer: I am also completely unable to make decisions on my own without the OTs advice. That and I’d like some of your own experiences bad or good.

Last time I used a moving company it was mostly Russians. Protect your vodka.

Find a friend with a truck.

It's 5 miles. Save money.

We used Two Men and a Truck for both of our moves in the last two years. Had zero complaints as they were extremely punctual and worked really fast. Cost around $800 each time, worth every penny.

Two men and a truck.

If you are no longer in college don’t ask any of your friends to help you move, no one wants to do it. Be an adult and get yourself moved.

Two Men and a Truck.

A lot of people are saying do it yourself. frick that. If you can afford it have pros do it and you won't kill yourself.

Two Men and a Truck.

Went from 3BR to 4 BR six miles away.
Cost us $400 as we got them for big furniture and appliances. They are based on time spent moving

Before looking for a mover, make sure you're dressed well so they know you mean business, and have the cash to pay them on hand. Now drive into the projects looking for help.

Express Delivery

Guys showed up on time, movers were normal dudes, were very careful and worked their butts off. They're insured. Also much cheaper than Two Men and a Truck and didn't come with all the stipulations (minimum fees, etc).

Two men and a truck won't move music equipment or anything "Alive" including potted plants, which I needed done

Based on recommendations from the OT, 3 years ago I used Abba Movers 2 separate times. I was thoroughly pleased.

We handled all of the packing ourselves, so we were prepared for them when they arrived..... I have recommended them to some friends multiple times, and everyone has been extremely satisfied

We used All My Sons Moving a couple years ago. They were very professional and packed everything up then delivered it and unpacked everything for us at our new location. It cost us around $1,000 BUT it was very worth it. If I move again, I’ll definitely use them again because it made moving day so much less of a headache for us.

$1,000 WELL SPENT!

We used Abba Movers in 2015 and a friend used them last year. Very happy with the company. Also used 2 Men and a Truck in 2006 with good results.

moved from BR to Maine for 5 months last summer. Used a moving company out of Dallas. Stuff going with us was picked up on on May 6th. Got to Maine on May 17th. Did not receive stuff until June 26th. Had to start packing to move Labor day weekend.

I will never use a moving company again.

Booked with Coastal Moving Co. who subbed it to Angel Van Lines out of Dallas who contracted to a third party to do the actual move.

Save yourself the headache and just get a uhaul or penske. Penske will rent you a big truck with a liftgate for cheaper than a moving company.

My last move I rented a UHaul and paid my college aged nephews and cousins each $50, pizza, and beer.

Done in 3 hrs.
