What percentage chance would you give Tiger to beat the Nicklaus record?

Jack has 18 pro majors, Tiger has 14.

I would say a little higher, maybe 10-15%.

Tiger has his game back, looks like to me.

.00001% this only because he is alive and therefore has a mathematical chance.

1% to even win one more.

I think you would lose your shirt on that one.

He'll win another major.

I’d Be all over those odds.

I give him about a 27% chance to tie. 12% to pass.

not the first time this has been said. Don’t think he can sustain it for 5 more majors. Highly unlikely

Tiger inspired a new generation of golfers, many of which are now on tour. I think the competition is much stiffer now that it was in the early to mid 2000s, so even if he gets his game back to what it once was, it will be tough to dominate a much improved field.

If you really believe this, you would gladly give me 2 to 1 odds on a bet then correct? He definitely is a favorite or at least even to win another major at some point. Would've say that before this week as well. All the greats have one magical run in them.

Now 4 more is a huge stretch, it's a different game now a days. Too many really good golfers.

Let’s see how he does at Augusta where he has to be long and accurate with a driver.

But, he’s 4 behind Jack for wins in majors. He’s 3 PGA wins behind Snead for career wins.

Just my opinion but I give him 1% chance of breaking Jacks record (5 majors after age 42). I say 50% chance he breaks Snead’s record.

1%, even if he gets his groove back, which is a big if at his age, these young bucks today aren't scared or intimidated by Tiger like the best of Tiger's peers of this prime.

Those cats would shite the bed when Tiger roared in majors. The only players that I can remember stepping up their games head-to-head with Tiger in Majors were journeymen like Beam, May and Dimarco. The Els, Sings, Duvalls, Phils et al seemed to fade into the background on that stage. Sergio gave him a good run in one when he was too young to know better.

10-15% to win five more? Hell no. 5 majors by themselves make for a VERY successful career.
10-15% is what I'd give a guy like Spieth to win five more, and even that might be high
