Seems like 90% of these turn out to be not true or only partially true, i.e. shooting happened a couple blocks from campus

From what I've gathered:
- Shooting took place in a dorm
- Two people reported shot, injured
- Suspect is a black male armed with a pistol, still at large, fleeing through campus

It's insane how they massage the stats like that. Seems like the definition of "mass shooting" gets looser everyday.
The funny part is that they cherry pick the details they want. They'll use the loose definition of mass shooting to say that they happen everyday, but will ignore the fact that they're carried out almost exclusively with handguns, not rifles.

I really wish they would classify campus shootings into general crime and mass casualty/terror. A drug deal gone bad or an argument that got out of control will now go down as a school shooting.
