More "mass shootings" happen in a year in the US than there are days in a year. Last year there were 427.
Here a "mass shooting" is defined as a case where four or more people where injured or killed.

They were shootings at schools. The breakdown wasn't really that egregious. It was posted a month or so ago.

Uh no. You're referencing what they stated were school shootings. The list didn't say they were all mass shootings.
You're injecting mass shootings into this where they have no place. The OP just says shooting at Central Michigan. Apparently it happened in a dorm.

I know two of them were a school resource officers gun going off into the floor and one a kid that thought it was a training weapon (ROTC maybe can't remember), but it was real and he sbot it into the wall.
I would say calling both of those a school shooting is pretty dishonest. Especially when using it as evidence that people going in and shooting up school has become much worse.

One involved a closed campus (meaning they don’t use it for school anymore but the district still owns the property) where a guy committed suicide in the parking lot. They called that a school shooting as well
