If the problem is innocent people dying and we are looking for what are the biggest problems in this country, hand guns should get a 5 star safety rating. Bathtubs kill exponentially more people than those killed in school shootings. So do stairs. If looking for real problems of death by assault, why aren't we banning anti-freeze and other common products used in intentional poisonings?? The numbers are in the tens of thousands of people killed for each of these issues yet we hear nothing from the media??

Sounds silly and not making light of school shootings. It is a tragedy when any innocent person is killed. But since the day television news came into existence, not even as many as 300 people total have died in school gun attacks.. Step ladders and choking on a piece of ribeye each kill more people every year than the firearm's 50 year history in school attacks...where is the media uproar to ban all meat that has not been ground??


And THE REAL PROBLEM when it comes to deaths of children is EVERY 90 DAYS more children are killed by their own parents than all the children combined for the past 50 years that have been killed in school shootings.... yet the media treats school gun deaths as if it should be some kind of priority???? This is nothing but a dishonest, sensationalized, fear tactic with not-so-well hidden agenda.
