Bucky's just a far more likeable character. You can get rid of Falcon and no one would give a shite.
Am I in the minority when I say I really don't like Bucky? Maybe it's the actor they chose or the direction he gets, but he just seems to have no personality whatsoever and is so bland and wooden in all of his scenes. I get that he's a tortured soul and everything but so is Bruce Banner and Ruffalo makes it work.
I am definitely not excited for him to be a major player in the MCU after Infinity War.

Random Questions:
How did Killmonger get a custom golden jaguar suit? I can see how Shuri would have other Black Panther suits lying around but a custom golden suit with the same tech?
Even though it was not confirmed does anyone still think the soul stone could be in Wakanda? Maybe Vibranium is the way it is because of the power of the soul stone? Or the soul stone was inside the meteor that crashed into earth long ago. Trying to justify the battle of Wakanda in infinity wars...

That suit was the one that T'Challa didn't pick when he upgraded his suit early in the movie because he didn't like how flashy the golden necklace was, so he went with the simpler silver necklace.

It's what I'm thinking.

thanks for the reply...so it was really just another Black Panther suit and not a "JAGUAR" suit per say

I'm pretty sure. During that scene they make sure to get across that the far right suit is his "old tech" and he could choose a new suit from one of the 2 "new tech" suits with the kinetic energy harnessing. One of which was flashy and gold. Although we never see the whole suit, just the necklace but I'm pretty sure it's implied that that's the suit Killmonger takes.
And also when Killmonger becomes king, they make him the Black Panther through the same ritual T'Challa did.

I know I'm going against the grain here, but I absolutely loved this movie. Definitely one of my more favorite Marvel movies.
There were some confusing things, for example I loved Michael b Jordan's character, one of the better marvel villains imo. I just didn't like that he became a black panther copycat. I thought he deserved his own suit with his own special abilities and whatnot. Also what was with the Get Out character becoming a traitor so fast. The country went from being unified to war in 5 seconds.
Basically the first half of the movie dragged on, and the 2nd half was rushed. Overall, still thoroughly enjoyed the movie.

Watched this movie yesterday.
I thought it was a solid, decently put together movie.
Things I liked:
1) Wakanda scenery
2) Wakanda tech, and the jokes about colonialists
3) The bearing/portrayal of black panther, particularly in the spirit realm
4) Andy Serkis as Klaue.
5) The monkey tribe, following the Hindi god Hanumann
Things I didn't like:
1) For an evolved society, the wakandans resorted to primitive violence pretty quickly (ie within hours)
2) No infinity stone reference
3) I think we needed more time with the "Villain".
4) How quickly his "good friend" turned on him, over something that happened 30+ years ago.
5) While there was a fight at the end that "resolved" things, I don't think there was thematic resolution based on Killmonger's final words. That was an interesting idea/discussion that just kinda ended.
6) it felt a little too cgi-ey in places.

Ralph the Movie Maker gave it a 10 out of 10: LINK

A few question:
If the Black Panther gets his power from vibranium juice, can anyone drink it and get those powers? What if someone like Cap drank it? Are there any more vibranium flowers left or can they grow more from that little piece they stole? Is it good for TChalla's body to keep losing then regaining his powers? Is it racist that the vibranium juice was purple?

This falls pretty safely into category of "if you like most Marvel movies you'll enjoy this one". Michael B. Jordan really stole the show, and I think if we had gotten more of him in the first 3rd of the movie this could have been up near the best Marvel movies to date.
The pacing was a bit off, but the movie was excellent any time Michael B. Jordan or Letitia Wright as Shuri were on screen. I actually thought the political stuff was really well done too.
I'd give it a solid 8.5/10.
ETA: extra thoughts, the movie could have used more world building in Wakanda and even though I'm not someone that normally complains about CGI, I thought there were a couple of instances where is was so bad it was kind of distracting.

We really do at this point.
Let's reiterate: The RT score is merely the amount of people that like a film, or the chance that you will basically enjoy the film. It is not a "quality" metric.

+1 It was really bad at times. The rhinos had me lol.

I actually didn't mind the rhinos. But the crowd on the waterfall during the crowning ceremony was terribly bad. It felt like a crowd shot in the Star Wars prequels.

Red Letter Media has the best review of the film.

They actually make a great point about Wakanda inconsistent
At one point Danai Guriras characters has a line about guns being primitive yet these frickers elect their king through a fricking deathmatch

There’s was good, and I agree with them that I am totally burnt out on the MCU. I thought Ralph’s was a bit better.
I have yet to see the movie and don’t give a single shite about the spoilers, but I’ll wait until Tuesday to see it for $5.00

Just watched that video I was confused because you said he gave it a 10, but he's bashing the film the whole time.
Posted on 2/18/18 at 4:54 pm to RLDSC FAN
He only gave it a 10 out of 10 to avoid being called a racist, but put it as #12 on the MCU.
