Finally saw it this weekend. I knew I was on borrowed time with IW right around the corner. Why I picked a Saturday night to see this, I’ll never know. At least the movie ended up being “free”.
Can Iron-Man have his suit made out of vibranium? Wakandans have that metal down to a science. I was rooting for MBJ’s character by the end of the movie. It’s a shame he won’t be back.

Watched it last night and I’ve been shocked at how many people have praised Michael B Jordan in this thread. His acting was absolutely terrible and was easily the worst part of the movie for me.

I also watched it for the first time last night, I don’t agree that his acting was terrible but I will say I thought Killmonger was the generic superhero movie villain we’ve seen 20 times at this point. He lost a loved one due to a superhero and wants revenge, just seen it too many times. I enjoyed Klau much more as he actually had a unique personality.
I thought it was good though, nowhere near the critical reception it got obviously but I’d put it middle of the pack in the MCU. The CGI in the last battle was atrocious, those rhinos looked fricking horrible.
Also why couldn’t any old average joe just sneak in and take the purple flowers for black panther powers?

Yeah, just watched it too. It was o.k., somewhere in the middle of the mcu movie. Definitely no where close to the rotten tomato score.
