Why does everyone here hate Dallas? Always thought Dallas was a good city to live in.

“To thine own self be true.” Only you know what is best for you.
But you will regret not taking this opportunity one day. Book it.

Go. Leave on good terms. If you still regret it in a year, come back.

Not a good idea, unless you like job searching.
Maybe that won't happen. Maybe unicorns are real. Who really knows?

Dallas and DFW in general is a great city to live in. A lot of folks here live in Louisiana and have Texas penis envy.

If you are a valuable employee I doubt they'll fire you if you tell them you've had second thoughts. I definitely wouldn't make a habit of it though. You are supposed to think it through before you accept.

Take the job. Sign a year lease.
I’m sure there are hourly flights from Denver to Dallas.

Be a man, grow some balls, if not you’ll live to regret

Let me know when you get here and I'll buy you a beer. You're going to enjoy it up here. You'd be moving at the perfect time, winter isn't far from over!

Sounds like you need to grow up and make more adult decisions. College doesn't last forever.
You remind me of a young engineer I know that lives in Austin and misses the hell out of Alexandria.

Just go. Change mat be uncomfortable at first but life is boring without it.

Honestly it is probably a career sideliner at that company. You won't get fired but your chances of moving up are very very slim unless the folks involved in making you the offer leave the company.
It's kind of a mess for sure.

I had this same problem about 19 years ago. I had got a big promotion but had to move to New York City. I thought I had bit off more than I could chew. Just a country boy from bum frick Louisiana going to one of biggest cities in the World.
I must have walked in and out of my front door that morning twenty times.
I was 22 years old by myself traveling all over different sites. I thought I was going to get killed out there .
It became the biggest point in my life . It was such a huge rush to be out there against all odds. Every little accomplishment was a a huge victory in my perception.
In short, do it . You can always fail and move back. Challenge yourself!!

If you do, you'll ever get another promotion within you company.
