Go. Colorado is beautiful. Great hunting, fishing, skiing, etc. you might mess around and meet the love of your life, who knows?

If you just accepted yesterday just go in tomorrow morning, sit down with your boss and be honest with him...it won’t be a big deal. Don’t listen to people on here telling you that you are screwed, you aren’t.

Take the job in Denver, be a man of your word.
Possibly reneging wouldn’t hurt you medium or long-term but you will never know unless you reneg.
Go Northwest, young man!

Go to Denver. You won’t regret it.

a few folks from my company have done this. The company generally does let them stay in their old job, but I can't say that it doesn't damage their career pretty substantially. They are not treated in a hostile manner or anything like that, but they don't see many promotions after that.

Just moved from Texas to Denver. Do it. It's worth it.

If I recall, you are single with no children. Think about that... taking a chance now is the perfect time. Also, look around your own family. You will find relatives within it who took chances to get them where their "family" is today. Additionally, you're still 2-6 hours from them. Flights leave daily. Go get your place in the world.
All of this.

I agree. I also felt pressure from my boss and his boss. I just did what made them happy instead of myself. Which i obviously realize now.
Welcome to the grown up world.

That’s they other thing...they approved 6K for me to move. I asked when will i get the money after i accepted the offer. They said “oh, well just pay for it then show us the receipts and we will pay you back.”
I have a 3K lease break, $1200 in uhaul, rent in dallas & Denver, movers, etc...
WTF they better get Graebel on the phone with you before you put anything on a fricking truck.

Go back in and ask for the 3k to break lease upfront.
Ask for another 3k for first and last new place and for them to be your references to get new place. Ask if hr can handle the move.
You are a pawn in their game. Expand your vocabulary. See how much $$$$ you can get before you go.
Ps. Some people never see Paris.
