Overhaul??? Cutting out shifts and motions is not overhaul. Switching to the option or running an air raid is overhauling.

It is when the premise of Canada's offense is on misdirection through multiple motions. Of course, 0 didn't seem to understand that, but not really a shocker.

That was equivalent to taking the running back out of a Miles' offense.

Right, but isn’t the rumor that he meddled in the first half which led to the locker room argument at half time? We were shut out in the first half. That’s not O’s gameplan almost working, that’s O’s gameplan costing us the game.

Go back and watch the game. Penalties, 3 & outs and not converting on 3rd down is why we were shut out at the half.

How is it s complete over haul when they were still running jet sweeps?

The motions are designed to read the defense, adjust the offensive plays, and disguise them.

Cutting out the motion was the best thing O did all year, and if you can’t even give credit for that you’ll never admit any good he does

11 penalties vs Chattanooga then 9 against Miss St wa cut down to 3-5 a game almost immediately

Yea & we went from multiple men in motion to just 1, and the penalties dropped significantly all while accomplishing the same thing

Are penalties, 3 & outs and not converting on 3rd down not a product of the offensive gameplan?

Ummm...we went back to this as the season went on and it is when LSU was most successful.

The penalties had more to do with a team with poor discipline than anything and we saw that on both sides of the ball and is a direct representation of the team's leader.

Again, the point of the motions was to help out flank and confuse the defense, while getting a read on them as Telia mentioned.

O wanted less penalties by doing less. That's like the stupidity Les had in thinking LSU's offense was just fine but needed more practice to execute better.

LSU penalties in BYU:
Offense - 8 (4 illegal shift/false start, 3 holds, 1 delay of game)

LSU Penalties vs UT-Chatt:
Offense - 3 (1 illegal shift, 1 hold, 1 intentional grounding)

LSU vs MSU:
Offense - 5 total (2 holds, 1 false start, 1 personal foul, 1 offensive PI).

So your premise is the LSU offense was penalty ridden the first 3 games and 0 changed things up and fixed them, when in reality it didn't change much outside of the first game.

Care to make any other baseless claims to prop up 0's failures?

But it didn’t accomplish the same thing. It’s why his offense was productive at Pitt, but wasnt nearly as productive at LSU.

O didn’t have the patience to let him work down the pre snap penalties, and instead took away one of his biggest offensive tools.

guess the players were lying lester, you're right. It was Canada's offense. That whole ordeal also did not result in the 3 having a meeting with the AD.

You said the offense was completely over hauled. I acknowledged it changed but if it were over hauled there would have been no jet sweeps don’t you think or nah?

You understand Canad’a offense about as much as O

But also players were saying they were running last years offense.

That’s an overhaul.

This is not something I’m 100% positive about. If/when Maryland’s offense sucks under him, I’ll probably agree with you more on this.

Weakest recruiting class in 10+ years and really since 2002.

Do you really believe that?

Even with the players who don't and never will count towards the class?

Fehoko, Giles - a Biletnikoff candidate in his sophomore year at Texas Tech.

Thaddeus Moss who was the 123rd overall player in the nation.

You wanted him to leave? Not pay him less than an offer he had to leave?

We hired a multiple time failed OC that hasn't fully run an offense in nearly 20 years

He didn't set five records at LSU in 8 games as the OC? WOW ??

If you are searching for reasons to hate LSU just leave.

What did LSU finish in the SEC this year?

This was statistically one of the weakest years in SEC football in over 3 decades and a complete joke of an SEC West outside of Bama and Auburn

LSU beat Auburn. Are you saying they could chose the schedule? Did Eaux sit down and write out the schedule right before the season started. Sorry LSU won more games than they lost. Sucks huh?

From what I gather, you seem to think you are an analyst on this staff or something

Not at all. Questioning what team you are a fan of though.

I liked Canada’s offense fwiw. The motions were problematic though when it was multiple players. All I’m saying

Well damn. The team moved and that caused him to suck and get fired. My bad.
