But also players were saying they were running last years offense.

When you cut out the shifts and reduce the motion it is very similar. Both are pro-style offenses. One is vanilla version and the other has the "eye candy."

It's all BS at the end of the day. The offense didn't execute, plain and simple. You hang that every one...O, Canada, whole staff, and players.

Yep. I got blasted after the BYU game when I said that this is essentially the same offense with some presnap motion and jet sweeps and that it wouldn’t be enough to beat Bama.

Because since Coach O was hired, the anti O threads have repeated the same things over & over AND over again; each time he "does something wrong", his haters come out of the woodwork & start repeating themselves. Using the same old derogatory names over & over again.

Go ahead...complain...

Will it make a difference? Highly unlikely.

Just reality Bro!!! Support the team. Realize Orgeron is gonna get his chance to fail or succeed. And be a loyal fan to the program. Buy tickets. Go to the game. Tailgate and cheer for our team.

O's day of reckoning is coming...good or bad...I promise you

he tried to re-install the ensminger offense that week, players have confirmed as much

Well, I guess they decided to scrap that plan prior to kickoff. Canada called the plays in the first half minus the shifts and reduced the amount of motion.

The offense sucked that half and wasn't great in the 2nd half either. It sucked the 3 games prior to that game also. Spin and read into it any way you want.

No he didn't. Eaux after being named the HC of LSU, 3 months later signed the 7th ranked class in the nation

That class was mostly in place because of Miles.

We saw what happened when O got control of a full recruiting cycle. He loses the best recruit in the nation that had been solid to LSU for 2 years.

It essentially is. As the season went on, several coaches (HC and DC) were all saying the same thing. Stay disciplined against all the pre-snap and it's basically the same game plan as before.

You have offensive wizards like Sammy Baby and BilJ on here selling the complete "overhaul" of the offense.

We scored 21 more points in the second half when we let Canada do his fricking job.

Are penalties, 3 & outs and not converting on 3rd down not a product of the offensive gameplan?

As they are in every game including the games leading up to Troy.

Havent finished in top 10 since 2011 that speaks volumes but to do that with the top NFL talent makes LSU fans Frustrated! Why does not accepting over 3 loses, per year, in the last 5 years make us less of a fan

actually some years we didn't have many players selected in the draft.

since 2009 lsu had had less than 7 players drafted 6 times.

since 2009 bama has had less than 7 players drafted once.

in the 2015 draft we had 4 players drafted. 17 different programs
(6 sec programs)had more players drafted than lsu.

in the 2016 draft we had 5 players drafted.5 different sec programs either matched or had more players drafted.

what happened is that we had by Dr the most draft eligible sophomores and juniors leave early than any other school
from 2011-2016 we had 21 draft eligible sophomores and juniors leave early the next closest program was bama with 13.

this year is no different as Florida State, LSU, and Texas are each losing six underclassmen to the draft, more than any other schools.

IMO WE won't start winning title again until the majority of these juniors stay.

We need a coach big homie. We're stuck in football purgatory until we get one.

I agree, but it goes much higher than that AD, and King need to go before we can hope to see positive change.

Because your open noon on an open forum amounts to jackshit. The angst around her is similar to the lefts melting over Trump. It’s pretty friggin hilarious for somebody with a life

Outside the WRs being implemented into the run game, it was basically the same offense we've always run with more window dressing.
Not exactly.
The run game was fairly dismal compared to previous years, especially runs of 20+.
