Why does a certain segment of society always talk on speaker phone?

Are they just to lazy to hold the phone to their ear?Want to share their conversation with others?

Either way they probably can’t understand each other so why not just use speaker to prevent cancer

FIL does this at my house all the time. Annoying to say the lease. I usually turn the TV up to drown him out.

it was posted on here a few months ago in the same thread

the reality tv meme of their "stars" talking on speaker phone (for the camera, so you can see their faces without obstruction) has led to the people who watch it (lower class) to think it's chic

It is in the same category as when they pull up to a gas pump...windows down...full volume and a vulgar rap song.

The need for attention is so beyond. Ignorant people who need the spotlight on themselves are the worst.

And that said, I doubt you run into any professionals who are talking mutual funds or vacation in Breckenridge on a speaker phone in public. Most who do this tend to vacation in their cousin's boyfriend's god-uncle's in an adjacent neighborhood.

Just a hypothesis.

The same people who if the phone is not on speaker will pull the phone away from their ear and place it directly in front of their mouth when they talk. Makes no sense.

Go to fuel Zone on Perkins and Staring sometime. I swear, the one time a month that I have to stop there, it is like every single neighborhood dipstick feels the need to either walk in with their music on their phone on blast so that we can all hear the song... Or someone is Walking In And discussing something absolutely stupid and nonsensical with another person who is just a stupid on a speakerphone on the other end.

i live in a mixed area and go to the local Kroger, which is pretty ghetto and see this shite all the time

i love just looking at these kids

the kids who do the voice chat super loud are the ones who truly annoy me these days (typed from my old man porch)
