Tell you what. You have access to the same subsidies he does. The point of the subsidies is to encourage dreamers and innovators to dream and innovate. It's to spur progress. So, start your own car company. Do a better job with our money. We encourage it.

No?

Then sit down and shut the frick up.

Was going to say something similar, but not as eloquent.

Most are totally confused about the subsidies anyways. The BUYERS of the vehicles get non-refundable tax breaks. AKA - I spent $100,000+ of my AFTER TAX money on an AMERICAN MADE product, and the government steals --- $17,000 less from me in taxes that year.....

Let's be honest here, how many of you that are so vocal against Musk and his "subsidies" ---- ACTUALLY frickING PAY TAXES??????? Like any money at all???? My guess -- very small percentage. Most of you are probably salivating for the money coming in, and not the bullshite tax money going out of your pockets.....

So once again, we have tax TAKERS complaining that the tax PAYERS get to keep a little of their OWN frickING MONEY......... Why you ask? because takers think that if the government steals the extra $17,000 from me that year.... they are going to get more free shite.

Would have been cooler if it was a original idea.

You serious, Clark? Dumb motherfrickers around here can't handle a bridge. What do you think they're going to do when you put them in a hole in the ground?

Haha. I'm not saying people would become better drivers. Musk's idea doesn't require them to drive at all. Go look at the site. It's actually pretty freaking amazing and once they figure out how to drill cheaper and faster they'll be able to do some amazing stuff

I've got some wild ideas you'd love and could see IRL if the government gave me $2 billion tax free dollars too.

Without getting into Musk, you have no clue what you are talking about.

It's cool. But NASA built an electric car, flew it to the moon, and drove it 47 years ago.

This is the coolest/dumbest thing mankind has done since the Apollo Astronauts played golf on the moon.

That would be Alan Shepard. After he hit the shot that went “miles and miles” one of the guys at mission control chimed in that it looked like a bit of a slice.

Proving the fact that even on the moon your buddies will still give you shite about your golf game.
