Those are the choices in the range I gave, but I'm reluctant to get into details because that might have just been a bad day for the guy, and maybe I caught him at a really bad time. And I'd understand that.
Mickey Guidry? If not then I would have to go back and look at the QBs before then.. But then again, like you said.. He might have been having a bad day so I don't blame you for not wanting to say his name.

Used to live in the same neighborhood as Jeff Brantley (Pro baseball player). When he retired he moved to the same neighborhood as I lived in. We thought it was the coolest thing ever! Anyway, for Halloween, instead of candy, he would pass out autographed baseball cards, autographed balls, and autographed baseball bats.
That sounds worse than getting generic candy or a toothbrush.

You don't have to pretend anymore, he can't get you now.

Kevin Mawae is a very down to earth, genuine person. By far the coolest I’ve met.

Biggest dbag was a QB at LSU 35 - 40 years ago and not our current OC. Jeff W? David Woodley?

If it was Woodley, I'd just say, I'd probably give him a pass. By most all accounts, the dude was wresting a lot of demons for most of his relatively short life.

Not a famous athlete, but we used to live next door to James Reed, the nose tackle for the Jets. I was about 10 and went to every Jets game with my dad, and his kids were too young to care. So when we went to the games, he would let me wear his away jersey. That was pretty bad arse (and down to my ankles)

After the LSU-Notre Dame game in Nashville, we ran into a bunch of current and former players at an obscure bar. Zach Mettenberger was with the Titans at the time, he talked to us for a few minutes and bought us a couple rounds of shots.

Met a Milwaukee Brewer playing in a bar softball league.
Not sure how he was able to do that.. Figured they’d have a clause in their contract about not playing in things like that.

Michael Clayton.
Met him at a Tampa/Saints game in Tampa a few years ago. I happened to be wearing my LSU shirt at the time. I stood in line to get his autograph. As soon as he saw me next in line with an LSU shirt on he got up smiling, walked over and dapped me up. Was incredibly friendly and gave me some extra LSU centric autographs. He seemed genuinely excited to see an LSU fan.

John Stallworth.
When I was a kid staying with my grandparents they had a really nice couple over for dinner one evening. I remember him being really nice and engaging me in conversation.
My grandfather just introduced him as "Mr. Stallworth" and said he ran Madison Research Corporation. Him and his wife were good friends with my grandparents.
It didn't click in my head who he was until years later when I got interested in football

Are you being serious? I am an Earl Campbell fan. He seems down to earth, but of course I am basing that on seeing a few interviews of him.

I have met Shaq, Brian Dawkins, and Herm Edwards and all three were really nice guys. Pro athletes I have played in a game on the field against were Early Doucet and Tracy Porter but never met them.

I was at LSU the same time he was. One day I was about to get on an elevator an he was passing by at the same time and held the elevator door for me.
