I have a branch of my credit union in my building. I go there all the time.

I go at least once a month to deposit cash, but I use the ATM.

This or if you haven't been to a bank, you haven't purchased any property (other than homes - though a lot of people still go to brick and mortar banks for this) that required financing.

Not to mention business deposits.

What are you folks who run a business doing that handles that much cash?

I mean I restaurant I could see, but your average business these days? I'd think that's mostly online and credit/debit payments.

I use the ATM pretty regularly, but going through the drive through or in the buidling....at least 1 year, and only to get something notarized. My bank provides the service for free. Since ATM's started accepting check and cash deposits, there was no need to even go through the drive through, which I hated. Now with mobile depositing, my trips to the ATM are less frequent.

Like inside a bank? I went there awhile back to use the ATM.. But inside one... Hell. I have no idea.

Went last week to discuss a loan for a new machine at work. I go alot, but my best friend is the VP of the bank so I'm in there alot just bullshitting with him.

I went inside one last week and where the tellers used to be, they just had another ATM.

You are underestimating how many people don't have checking accounts.

I thought it was a Louisiana thing. They are still popping up here. But, in much of the country they are closing/consolidating.
