Fair take: this does not 100% cast the investigation in a bad light, only key parts

Memo makes clear papasoupols was already being investigated before the entire fisa warrant episode. So mueller still has compelling reason to investigate

Otoh, what this casts in a bad light is:

1) Christopher Steele
2) vetting processes for fisa applications
3) proper DOJ/FBI oversight of legit evidence
4) media for being complicit in gps story planting

This memo is not going to bring down the mueller probe. It shouldn't. It should discredit and maybe take down some key people however. And Steele should be prosecuted

i agree. i think everything i've heard from Mueller is even handed. he doesn't seem to be witch hunting and causing fear everywhere he sticks his head. let him continue his work unhindered, but lock up everybody that got him to this point.

Agree. It's not the atomic bombshell that some were hoping it would be. But what it should do is make any reasonable person say "hmmm...that seems pretty f'd up. What else could've been going on?"

The main issue is credibility.......kinda like a devastating character witness.

The memo is only the beginning. More investigations are still ongoing.

That's a naive take. Mueller investigation is an extension of what this is all about. This is an attempt to destroy Trump by using government forces to do it.

This is taking a predictable turn

Let's hope Nunes and Trump anticipated this

Thankfully the IG report is still likely going to hammer the agency

Anyone who knowingly lies to the court for a warrant should have their entire history of cases questioned.

Can't wait to hear their basis for this. Will probably be the sequel to the first memo.

Senior leadership at the fbi knew this fisa warrant was fraudulent.

I disagree. The whole foundation of the investigation was a political campaign opposition research report.

Would you also agree that the FBI's conduct in this deserves its own, separate investigation/prosecution, at least, then?

I mean, if Mueller is still relevant, what about this whole landfill we've just unearthed?

Am I the only person that has a significant problem with the DNC fricking paying for false information to guarantee a warrant and the Democrat led DOJ knowingly allow it to happen?

Except that the memo was a foundational piece for the investigation in the 1st place.

I think you’re being very short sighted here. What it shows is collusion by a sitting administration and the media for the purpose of misleading the American people in order to ensure a candidate of their choosing. It shows gross misconduct and a corruption we as country haven’t experienced since watergate. It shows the DOJ and FBI using documentation paid for and given credibility by the DNC as the basis to spy on and investigate a then private citizen of the opposing party. This is incredible.
