Whatever happened to Bradley Dale Peveto?

I know the infamous defensive co-coordinator (with Doug Mallory) and HC at Northwestern was given the boot from his stint at ST coordinator for the Tigers. But...where is he now?

Wouldn’t it have been easier to just Google that?

But that’s what the rant is for

Ole Miss last year, A&M just hired him.

HC at Northwestern
Had a better record than Ed Orgeron.
I'm just going to keep pointing that out. We hired a guy with a worse record than Peveto.

The guy can recruit apparently, so he has some value. But I think there are concessions in that from all I've heard his coaching limitations compromise what he brings as a recruiter.

On defense, Peveto oversaw a group of linebackers that were among the best in the SEC led by Butkus Award finalist Deion Jones and Kendell Beckwith. Jones led the Tigers with 100 tackles and was a second round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft by the Falcons. Beckwith is a preseason All-America in 2016 and will be the anchor for a Tiger defense that return nine starters this year.

quote:that’s an understatement. He will hurt us in Orange and Houston. He was responsible for most of the big names on the 2016 defense and at one point was lead recruiter for Chaisson. Yeah O fired him, but make no mistake that Peveto laid the foundation for Chaisson.

Mock him dumbasses.. he recruited some of the best talent here the last 10 years including Rashaad Lawrence.

Agree - I know a couple of guys who played under him at NOrthwestern years ago - said he was a very good coach as well as ttremendous communicator and person. Assumed to be a good ole boy only - simply because he was well- liked.

He’s assumed to be a good ole boy because he’s a terrible coach and held a job at LSU for entirely too long considering every unit he touched went to shite. He’s just a part of the “Ex-LSU coaches club” so a certain group of posters on this board are going to glorify him 24/7 now even though he’s awful at his job

I do not get the Peveto apologists.
He has left programs in ruins everywhere he has gone.
His coaching record at LSU as co DC of the "Malveto" was a disaster and his effort as ST coach here was a spectacular disaster.
He was 14-30 AT NORTHWESTERN!
When there was huge pressure to fire him last ime he was here, he suddenly got credit for every Texas, N. La. recruit, to help staunch the fires. whether he deserves that credit or not, I do not know, but as a coach, he has been terrible.

Ruining the LBs at AnM. Guy is money at an FCA meeting though...
