Deion outperformed Bobby this year.

Based on what? Are you just looking at base stats like tackles because you know those don’t tell the whole story.

I know they’re not always right but PFF had Wagner as the best ILB with a 96.7 grade and Jones 6th with a 89.6 grade.

Sacks...

Von Miller is 5th on his team in tackles
I mean he has a completely different role

I wouldn't really consider him when having this discussion because he's in a different one altogether

Mosley struggled in coverage too much to be considered the best

Are you sure?

I was under the impression that he was great in coverage.

This year wasn’t as strong as his numbers suggest. He’s still a pretty good player obviously but he isn’t the best.

is there any case for another LB you'd rather have of Deion Jones for the next 5 years?

Yeah, Reuben Foster if he can stay healthy and out of trouble. Already an elite all-around LB in his rookie year.

Not saying he is better than Jones or Wagner, but in terms of team importance, it’s Sean Lee without question.

Shazier had 11 PD, 3 INTs, 2 FFs, and I’m pretty sure he was top 5 in tackles when he got hurt. Basically missed the last 4.75 games.

I’m biased, but assuming he’s healthy, I’d take him over almost every MLB in the league.

Yeah well he’s not actually to be taken seriously at this moment in this discussion

He wasn’t behind DJ Welter

He was behind Kwon Alexander

Beck woth was behind DJ Welter which is just as bad.

beckwith had a decent start to his NFL career, IIRC PFF had him like 80s.

But damn he dropped like a brick

Yea, no. Dude showed up to LSU less than 200 pounds lol. Of course it took a while for him to be a starting LB in the SEC.

regardless of size, anybody who watched LSU during his time here saw him make play after play on special teams and in spot duty.

People had been calling for him to start since his Sophomore year.

How is it not Von Miller? Yeah he is a primary pass rusher, but he is still a LB.

Hands down Von Miller.

Do you say LT isn't the GOAT LB because he primarily pass rushed?

Some positions have become so specialized that maybe adding the "Overall" term is best.

"Overall" I would say Luke K is my #1 still.
