ETA- I oversee a book of business nationwide so may hit 1-3 sites per week. I usually go for just exec meetings.
I have been traveling more the past year as business grows and I hate it. Kudos to you because I would hate that lifestyle.

Whichever airline flies direct to my destination of choice. I avoid connecting flights at all cost. Then I’ll choose between who is flying closer to the time I want to depart and arrive.

Stout- honestly the weeks just vary. Last week two weeks were 12 segments... it just so happens my next two weeks are at home. I have a horrible week before Mardi Gras. I try to day trip shite when I can to be home. However as I age those 7am (or earlier) flights are more of a bitch.

United because I live next to IAH, that’s pretty much the only reason.

I’ll never get used to day trips. It’s just fricking weird and a long arse day.

Used to be AA, but I have companion pass for SW now, so I'll be doing a lot of SW. I really hate their boarding process

No. Not at all, actually. Interesting you make this correlation.

I fly once a year, if that, so I think you fly all the time.
But in my limited flying experience, my favorite line has been JetBlue. When they do go where I want, they are always a direct flight, have the televisions on every seat-back, competitive pricing, etc. However, they don't fly to very many places out of MSY so it is kind of limited.
For a cheap flight on a dependable airline I go with Southwest. Again, limited to where they fly but I like that they don't charge for checked bags (1 per person) and their prices are usually VERY competitive if not the lowest of all.
Overall, I find it depends what part of the country/world you are flying to so it is hard to compare.

I hear you on not getting used to day trips. Problem is that if I don’t sometimes it becomes a logistical clusterfrick to avoid meetings and calls.

Whoever has the best rate.
I never seek out a specific airline

WHat a pretentious a whole. “I don’t fly often (10-15 times a year) “
Most people don’t fly that much in a lifetime. Stop being such a subtle narcissist jerk

Southwest, no question because rheir attitude is so much better than all the rest and I can`t afford first class anyway
