The thing about Canada is at least his offense could move the ball against good defenses.

Wow four straight O fans.

Canada's offense was nothing like his past stops.

Ensminger hasn't called plays based on his own offense in 20 years.

Matt Canada took a team that averaged 32 ppg and 464 ypg under Ensminger and throttled them back to 27 ppg and 411 ypg.

Only on the rant is 27 > 32 and 411 > 464.

I think Canada is a smart guy and would have given LSU an effective offense, but I never thought his style of offense was the direction LSU needed to go.

LSU is starving for a HUNH spread offense, and I am willing to take any coach who has had success running it. I think LSU has immensely more talent than most teams running this offense and I think its scary to think how explosive their offense can be if they implemented it effectively. Too bad they couldn't hire a guy well-versed in it to bring to LSU.

He also averaged 35 or 40 points per game.
Now show me Steve’s career stats.

So...when did Canada's offensive scheme start to suck? Before Orgeron offered him the OC position at LSU, or did he bait and switch Ed and start sucking when he got down south? Neither answer bodes well for Mr. Ed.

Because...it sure SEEMED like everyone was super happy back when Orgeron announced the big hire of his shiny new OC, including Orgeron.

But...now he sucks...and is a dcik, something that's been well known and is the reason he never stays put but was not a reason for Orgeron to pass on hiring him as our OC...but is now a reason to fire him, because...you know...he's a cancer and what not.

You guys are adorable with this shite...

So what you are saying is O isn't good at hiring talented coordinators.

While I know there are better OCs out there than Ensminger, I watched him set offensive records while calling plays from Cam fricking Cameron’s playbook. So I know Ensminger’s not garbage, and I’m hopeful he’ll be better running his own stuff.

I don’t remember big red zone problems with Ensminger in 2016. I do remember not being able to score from a half yard out under Canada.
