For a slight pay raise LSU can match the money. I doubt Aranda wants to make an at best lateral move to AtM. He's probably thinking more long term like head coach or NFL. Should AtM really offer $3mm + for a coordinator than that's a whole different level.

I hate him, but he has solid sources. Which is why he doesn't just say everything, because he doesn't want to burn bridges. Liucci only becomes useful when someone else leaks and he can provide the background. He is never willing to break news first. But he is always willing to provide the details once the story is out there.
