The nerve of these damn reporters these days.

Eaux is the head coach. The staff is going to do what he wants to do. Nevermind that they were promised autonomy.

Sounds like all this Aranda info being thrown out there is TAMU trying to push negativity around the program for recruiting purposes. It probably is false Aranda has problems with this administration. I mean, it would make sense but if anyone probably doesn't give 2 shits it's Aranda with his personality.

It would also explain why nobody in LSU's program was worried about anything until stuff was coming out on TAMU's side. I highly doubt Aranda just backhanded a program that is taking care of him and burning bridges that way.

Tarp also admitted on his own 247 boards that he doesn't have the inside info on this and was only basing his article on the one from the Advocate b/c that guy broke the Chief to A&M story.

Not saying it was wrong, just that he wasn't getting his info from any inside sources.

Your team paid an above average coach 75 million dollars guaranteed and now you want to pay a Defensive Coordinator 10 millon guaranteed. That reeks of desperation.

And im not that mad about it, this helps get us to my ultimate goal which is Orgeron and Alleva gone. Im willing to sacrifice a couple of years to get back on track. So ultimately, from my perspective, thanks, but it still reeks of desperation.

Yeah, delly saying he turned them down is reliable. Just like Brian kelly saying who spurned an offer, when there is no way he was anything more than vetted as a backup plan.

Whatever happens with O isn't going to tarnish his resume.

Maybe not. But an enhanced compensation package with possibly a handpicked staff with Jimbo would look a whole lot better than being stuck with a stumbling program under O.

Pretty sure Canada wanted to bring 1-2 assistants from pitt, but had Joseph and Robinson dumped on him. (I like Rob, but Joseph was a terrible hire..hire the frickstick from Kansas if you wanna appease New Orleans.)

If Dellenger reported it, it's legit.

Ah, but then you’d piss off Frank Wilson because he doesn’t like Tony Hull. And Ed loves his boys too much to do that.

I hate him, but he has solid sources. Which is why he doesn't just say everything, because he doesn't want to burn bridges. Liucci only becomes useful when someone else leaks and he can provide the background. He is never willing to break news first. But he is always willing to provide the details once the story is out there.

He keeps everything vague enough to where he can't be "wrong". He's just full of shite.

Your team also has lost 7 in row to LSu and talent wise isn't close to beating LSU anytime soon. Even with an idiot head coach and your super team of coaches the aggies are a long way off.

He certainly rubs alot of people the wrong way it seems; although I personally have no issue with him; but he absolutely doesn't report junk. If Luicci is reporting it then there is validity to the rumor. Aranda may very well stay put, but there certainly appears to be something going on here.

How do you know he's happy here? Because he said so lol? I'm not saying he's not happy but you have no idea. I mean he did come to LSU to work for Miles, not to work for his DL coach. He might quietly have a problem with this.

I don't think that's it. Aranda would survive any coaching change. Hell, I think he could walk into the ADs office right now and demand the head job and get it.
