In the last 20 years of National Championship football (BCS) games the SEC has been represented 15 times by an amazing 6 different schools, winning 11 times including this year.

SEC appearances:
Bama 6
LSU 3
Florida 2
Auburn 2
Georgia 1
Tennessee 1

Teams by conference.
Big 12: UT, OU, Neb(now B1G)
ACC: Clemson, FSU
Pac12: Oregon, USC
Big East: Miami(ACC) VaTech(ACC)

Last but not least
B1G: OSU

The SEC may not be the strongest or deepest conference every year but it is certainly deeper than all the other conferences when it comes to variety of national championship contenders.

I’m an SEC fan and the chant bothers me because it’s predictable and repetitive.

In fairness, it's pretty fricking stupid.

I'm sure as hell am not taking any pride in Alabama's accomplishments.

Repetitive like it goes "SEC, SEC, SEC"? Yeah most chants are repetitive.

Fans don’t do this much anymore. This was really popular in the BCS era where conference strength was very important.

People that chant SEC! are trashy.

Ohio State fans that get triggered by it make me laugh.

I agree, now it's more of a troll. But if it pisses-off Danny Kanell it can't be all bad.

Can we not just enjoy how awesome the OU vs UGA game was. That game could of gone either way.

Great football plain and simple. What a game to watch.

So many arse hats on here trying to talk about some tribal chant or a QB showing emotion after a loss. Go get fcked no one cares.

Zoom out and look at it again. It is a southern thing. Since 1980 until now the number of teams outside the south that have won a title decreases every 10 years, e.g.

1980-1989

Georgia
Clemson
Miami
Pitt
BYU
OU

PSU
Miami
ND
Miami

5 Schools

1990-1999
GT/CU
Miami/Washington
Bama
FSU
NU
NU

Florida
NU/Michigan
Tennessee
FSU

4 Schools

2000-2009
OU
Miami
OSU
LSU/USC
USC

Texas
Florida
LSU
Florida
Bama

Four Schools

2010-Present
Auburn
Bama
Bama
FSU
OSU
Bama
Clemson

1 School

I let it slide for 1 reason.

"Y'all sound so stupid dick riding Alabama. And only a couple teams in your conference are even bringing home the hardware anyways."

While this retarded arse argument keeps getting thrown around, I'll enjoy the chant.

The SEC has BY FAR the most teams willing and able to go win a NC. Yet fans of teams in other conferences argue the exact opposite.

It wasn't fun when both teams were taking turns beating each other and winning NCs?

The height of that game's excitement was when both teams were winning. I'd root for LSU because of that.

It isn't Alabama's fault that LSU has lost its mojo of late. Rooting for y'all to get it back

It def doesnt help having a team rape us of some of our biggest in state recruits over and over

A good Alabama is not good for LSU. It isnt

Great game.

Did the chant or this thread cause you not to enjoy the game?

There is definitely enough room for both to operate at a very high level, though.

Hell, an average QB probably doesn't allow an LSU team to lose this many times in a row. The game has still been a knock down drag out.
