With the final plan I save $5168. Wish it was more but I'll take it. I know for a fact I can do more with that money than the government can do with it.

If we really wanted to do tax reform we would abolish the IRS and go to the Fair Tax Plan.

That link doesn't show other deductions that are non-itemizable.....like IRA contributions, student loan interest payments, etc......so it isn't very realistic in determining actual differences between the old plan and the new.

Between a $1000 and $5000 loss is about what I was expecting until this calculator came out. FWIW, This calculator’s numbers have been all over the place (wildly) at least for my stuff
