The wax on the bottle is what stinks. They've been using that wax since 2015.

Have we figured out wtf is going on with that? Like. It's a known thing. Why do they keep doing it?

I saw a Matt Naquin post where he said they've tried working with their wax supplier on the stinky wax and it sounds like they've gotten a "that's just the way it is" response.

So it's people like you that kept people like me from snagging a four pack.

Thanks, dick.

Or maybe it was the no-limit release. Sorry you showed up late. Plan better next time

This is exactly what it was

I find it interesting that they went with a no limit release here given their past history. It seems like they were satisfied to sell their 700 cases as fast as possible whereas in the past they were more inclined to get the beer into the hands of more people. An interesting switch in philosophy at this stage in the game......as we see people bitch and moan either way though.

I wonder if Ghost releases will be like this going forward (assuming that every summer isn't the "Summer of Ghost" going forward).

ETA Every time I go in there it seems like they have new tanks so maybe Ghost will actually become a constant shelf turd.....who knows

i dont get why that pisses people off either... it's not like that one guy is buying all that for himself. that beer probably went to a good bit of people. is that not getting beer in people's hands?

Were there not people in line when they ran out? I was under the impression that there were.

FWIW limits don't stop mules....it just makes it harder on them.

Who the hell is driving out to Parish when its 32 degrees outside, closed roads, 200 plus in line and say, "Can I have a 4 pack please"?

They probably ran out around 2 then...

700 cases of just one of the available beers in 4 hours...wow

Did they sell all that maple shade too?
