What’s the worst way someone you knew died?

I’ve known two people burned alive, both were sleeping and their houses caught on fire.
One guy flipped a four wheeler and decapitated himself.
One guy I knew hit a deer which went through his window and the antlers impaired (edit: impailed) him and he died.

my step-brother's mother died in labor after the nurse gave her the wrong shot to induce labor. The shot caused her uterus to explode cutting off the oxygen to my step-brother's brain and killing his mother. Step-brother was born with cerebral palsy.
