I still regret not dropping money into Netflix the minute they announced David Fincher was creating an original show for them...House it Cards. I knew the company would take off.

I'm 100% certain this doesn't include reinvested dividends, but still, GE would have been a loser over the 10 year period with them included.

Meh, Exxon is up ~23% cumulatively with reinvested dividends. Still a major laggard though.

I'm sorry but I'm an idiot. Can someone explain how if you put $1K into apple in 2007 it would only be worth ~6K today? It seems like it would dwarf that number.

I mean, that's a 600% return on investment. That's not too shabby

“Tip of the Week If you bought $1,000 worth of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49. If you bought $1,000 worth of Budweiser (the beer, not the stock) one year ago, drank all the beer, and traded in the cans for the nickel deposit, you would have $79. My advice to you…start drinking heavily.”

Domino's Pizza Stock Prize:
Nov 21, 2008 - $3.03/share
Nov 30, 2017 - $185.65/share as of this writing
So $1,000 invested 9 years ago would be worth $61,270 today. For Domino's fricking pizza.

If you would have put $1k in NVDA 2 years ago you would be rocking a solid $10k return (was $20 in 2015, now at $200)

Salesforce (CRM) has gone from about $60 to $106 in the last 2 years. Still on the rise, it seems.
