For all the years we cried of getting mediocre quarterback play
these folks saw brennan throw a few passes in mop up duty and are already convinced that he's the answer.

brennan needs to put on 15-20 pounds of muscle if he's going to make it through a 12 game schedule, especially one as difficult as next year.

if patterson can be had, you go get him.

Won't happen. Besides if Coach Oaux did anything like this then IMHO it's the "kiss of death" as far as him recruiting QB talent. And don't think for a minute opposing recruiters wouldn't use that against LSU. Hey, you got to dance with the girl you brought to the party. Besides he's got three very very good QB prospects. Let them fight it out in the spring and fall practices. Hey, there's room for all of them at the top.

Throughout this season we saw Danny Etling progress and improve to become the best that he could be. Give me a gutsy competitor, with decent talent, and smarts everytime. Believe we must attribute his improvement to Coach Canada et al.

Besides, at this point all this speculation about Patterson coming to LSU is just that......pure speculation. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

both Brennan and Narcisse should and I think will transfer

If one transfers, the other DEFINITELY should not transfer.

In truth, neither should transfer unless they realize the other is clearly above them.

Patterson isn't coming to LSU.

This may be the most down voted post of all time. Do they keep records for down votes?

Agree. Brennan is good but not ready. And with what LSU has returning next year and you can get a guy that can handle the Qb spot like Shea, you take it!!

...Wonder if that would be exciting enough to entice Guice to stay for his senior year.

...Yes, I am greedy.

Lots of teams have taken QB transfers and it hasn't hurt them. Bama has done it, still got guys like Tua, etc.

Nobody has seen Brennan do anything, but he hasn't even been on campus for a year yet and has the potential. So does Narcisse. Let's have fun with both of them.

That said, if Shea wants to come you tell him cut all that BS baggage at the MS border and he can compete for a spot. If he wins it and is the best all year, great.

There are none. This thread needs to die.

Dammit, tried not to say anything, but there’s a lot of retardation in this thread.
Mississippi will get hammered and kids will be allowed to transfer. Look, it’s Miami, Michigan, USC or LSU. Greedy and Devin White are recruiting him hard. Only way he was staying at Mississippi was if Norvell got the job there.
