I'm at 65k on my '14 Ram. Much nicer interior and better features for the price than ford or chevy. Drives great, zero issues, tons of room, powerhouse, good MPG.

These new Ram trucks are not the same as the old ones (pre-'13), and anyone without first hand knowledge should not tell you otherwise. Go out and drive one.

If you go that route, keep us informed of how it does. I personally think the Dodge is the better looking of the other full size out there. I'm trying to talk myself out of buying a 4x4.....but I feel like I'm going to cave. Especially if I have to bring my Excursion back to the shop again.

2014 1500 4x4 and put 80k on it so far.

No issues. I get 16 mpg average with all terrains. Very comfortable.

So those old opinions are exactly that, old

Are very accurate statements to sum it up. I had a 2012 Laramie 4x4 with the 5.7 and loved it, put somewhere around 90k on it without any major issues. I have known several people run them over 150k flawlessly. The 5.7 is a great engine, only got rid of it to get a '17 2500 with the 6.4.

Driving a Dodge is like screwing a fat girl. They get the job done, but you don’t want anyone in town to see you riding around with her.

You will have to deal with this from all the Ford,Chevy, and Toyota fanboys that are terrified to not be in the "cool" club

I know exactly two people who own Ram trucks. Both are baller doctors who are not afraid to spend money. Both have diesels. Not sure if the diesel aspect of it is important or not.

Well, when they have failures like that in the millions, they may be able to compete with Ford

My best friend and hunting buddy just bought a Ram Rebel,4x4, 5.7 Hemi etc.
After riding with him in it during our annual hunt week I changed my opinion on them....real fast.
Great looking and riding truck. Lots of power, decent mpg, lot's of nice amenities for the price. Interior was even nicer and higher quality feel than my 17' Silverado LTZ.

I would get one in a heartbeat. Believe he got his for @ 43K, which I thought was a very fair price for that loaded a truck. One could do much worse.

Ram does not sell enough trucks to have failure quantities like that!

Drove a 2015 Ford completely loaded with all the bells and whistles. At 64k the timing chain went out. Looked around and was put in a 17 Dodge Ram with all the bells and whistles with the exception of leather heated/cool seats and 4x4. Out the door at $26k. Rides just as smooth. Smooth motor. Great touch screen. I have no brand loyalty and have no problems and like this truck.

I have an 06 with a little over 119,000 miles on it. Haven’t had an issue with it, plan on getting another one when it’s time.

Every single Ecodiesel Ram is a ticking time bomb. The engine is a turd in terms of reliability.

I drove Chevy Surburbans for years, had like six of them, switched to Dodge Ram in 2015 because the Checy Surb were like 60k, This truck has 60 thousand on it now and just had to put new 20 inch Goodyears on it. Love the ride and it averages 22 MPG with the Hemi. Truck hauls butt, will buy a new one next year, very nice truck. Paid 30 k out the door 2 wheel drive , bed liner and cover.

i sell new ford, ram, and gmc and I'M TELLING YOU THAT RAM IS THE BEST PRODUCT THAT I SELL. I know that no one believes it but you should believe me. my ram customers very very seldom call and complain with an issue. the other two call me all the time with some sort of problem. FACT!!!!

I know that most think of the reputation but that's changed drastically. trust me.

I know. I audited all the major dealers and it was staggering how much better Ram does in terms of issues, especially considering it is a better value than the rest.

But truck brand loyalty is weird, and you will never convince people. I dont get it. I dont give a shite which brand I drive

I have a 2014 Express Black Out edition, great truck with no issues. Few modifications I have a Diablo tuner with Hemifever tuning, cold air intake, 4” lift with aftermarket wheels and tires. I haven’t had any issues with my 4WD system and it used a pretty good bit.

Not calling Bs, but ive never seen a dealer that sells those three brands new? Where is that?

On another note, no one should have major car issues under 100k. Those issues are generally flukes.

Easy now. 66k on my Ecodiesel. I do plan on trading it in before the 100k warranty expires to be safe. Lol
