Hey Bubba it's November 27th.
According to where you look, we currently have the number 5-7 recruiting class in the nation.
Talk to me first week of February when we come in at #3 or #4.

Booger also said Coach O would never be the head coach at LSU.

The guys name is Booger. Can’t take him seriously.

I wonder who Boogers agent is?

You want to add ten digits to that?
We currently have the number 15-17 class in the nation.

Our class is ranked 50,000,000,000 - 70,000,000,000? Damn I didn’t know Coach O was THAT bad

This comment shows how big a dumb arse you are haha.

ETA: To the LSU fans lamenting a possible Jimbo to A&M hire I'm going to emphatically state that I truly believe Coach Orgeron will win a SEC Championship at LSU before Jimbo will at A&M. Go ahead laugh it up man.
I think the odds a SOLIDLY against both of them, based on recent results. If Jimbo can’t recruit a line that Trickett can do something with, can’t survive one QB injury, and can’t beat Bobby P, then he’s not winning the damn SEC West. There were a couple of potential red flags last year. This year is a whole different matter.

Star ratings aside, Jimbo has had his own struggles with evaluations and recruiting the last couple of years. They did not have their normal level of talent ready and waiting when the injuries came this year. It is possible to have a great class rank and still not get the job done. See Miles, Les. He’s was a master of highly ranked classes that didn’t address depth needs.

It's not so much Coach Orgeron that I think will win the Conference Championship as it is just plain LSU will win the SEC. All O has to do is keep on recruiting all that elite home grown Louisiana talent and let his assistants do their thing. I do firmly believe Coach O and LSU will win a conference championship pretty soon. LSU was a few dropped - incomplete passes away from probably winning in Tuscaloosa this year. Jimbo at A&M will start out behind the 8 ball.

Bro Bama toyed with us in that game, they got their lead and squatted on it. Was never in doubt

Jimbo has had pretty bad offensive line play
Posted on 11/27/17 at 7:22 pm to beauchristopher
All I'll say is done assume it's done until Jimbo is standing on the podium being introduced as the new coach. 2015 and 2016 certainly taught us that.

IDK. They host Clemson then go to Tuscaloosa and Auburn. On one hand, realistic fans will recognize that a 3 loss regular season would be great, on the other hand a large portion of the fanbase won’t be happy unless they are in contention for the West title entering the LSU game.

And a 3 loss season isn't starting behind the 8 ball. That would be our 2nd best season of the SEC era

It’s behind the 8 ball when a vocal portion of the fans are going to yell “we have a top 5 paid coach and have spent $x on facilities why aren’t I 50 points ahead?”
Rightfully so, the expectation of whomever A&M hires will be to make the SEC championship game by year 3. That’s really difficult when, at worst, you can lose one game per year against Saban and Malzahn. Then in year 2 the coach travels to Clemson, Athens, and Baton Rouge.
In addition to skill, it takes a lot of luck to win the West. 2010 with Cam Newton on God mode, Auburn barely beat an LSU squad led by Jordan Jefferson, then needed even more cheat codes in the Iron Bowl. 2011 LSU had an NFL starting defense and still needed a 50/50 interception call and a goofy kicker to win in Tuscaloosa, then for a future all-pro to turn the game around against Arkansas. In 2012 Alabama didn’t get by LSU til the last minute. 2013 took the Prayer at Jordan Hare and the Kick 6 for Auburn to win it. Alabama won in 2014 because an LSU OL decided to act a fool and let the game go to OT. Then in 2015 Alabama only made it to Atlanta because Arkansas converted a miracle 4th and 25 to keep Ole Miss out.
Winning the West isn’t easy, but it’s what will be expected of the new coach in College Station.

quote:not at all. We just want to be part of the contention and win it at some level of consistency. Like once every 3 or 4 years. If you can do that and keep us winning 9+ games we will be just fine

If Jimbo came back to tSEC, I think he'd go back to more of a blocking scheme similar to his LSU offenses.
God the last drive of the 2006 Tennessee game still makes me hard.
