I hope Jimbo goes to A&M so we can whip his arse every year. I don’t like people that make us beg. Daddy was calling him home last year and now it’s time he face a treasonous fate.

Going there is a lateral move for him, they have too much to compete with for recruits they are like a step above Moo st and 3 steps behind Ala/LSU type schools. Yeah they field good teams once every 4 years but they will never be consistent. Look at LSU won 9 games with a Dline coach and gimmicky Offensive coordinator. Yeah we lostt to Troy blah blah ...we still ended up with 9 wins.

I see them more as a LSU before Saban arrived scenario, meaning they have so much potential to be more if only the proper hire is made.

If Jimbo does go to A&M it'll tell me 2 things:
1.) This year was not a fluke and FSU is a sinking ship.
2.) Joe Aleeva really is THAT difficult to work for.

I'm a big fan of Booger and he's one of my favorite espn talking heads. I was surprised Booger went out on a limb like that with that "scoop" on Jimbo.

It really is a step down. FSU has won a lot more in the pst 75 years than A&M has.
I think they have 1 conference title in the past 25 years.....ONE! Haven't won a national championship since 1939. Ole Miss has a more recent championship.

Assuming Jimbo isn't trolling you for a better assistant pool, he has a long way to go before he could get the type of roster he needs to beat LSU. You just gave up 600 yards to a team that's been pretty mediocre on offense with a guy who used to be pretty good at coaching defense. You only managed 55 yards on the ground. Jimbo is going to have to change the entire DNA of that soft arse team, with Herman recruiting at the flagship.

I don't see anyway that he want to go head to head with Saban every year in the SECW. And if he was going to do it, it would have happened last year in a much better situation talent wise at LSU
