LSU needs a football guy at AD. When Woodward basically issued his public ultimatum to Sumlin in the offseason, that told you right there where he stood. He didn't pussyfoot like Alleva does.

The BOR meeting is on Thursday. I expect them to approve letting the AD make the hire. Then I expect Jimbo to be in College Station on Monday.

If FSU tries to call his bluff I think he will leave. The TA insider who usually hedges hard on everything coaching and recruiting related seems convinced it will happen. Only other time I’ve seen him take that stance was when we moved to the SEC. I thought it was basically a coin toss and feel the same right now

O's current class is 70% 3* bubba. I don't think Jimbo will have a hard time recruiting against him
