in a fire, the cases might rupture but the primers will only detonate with a strike...ie: ammo "firing" in a fire is a movie trick
if the ammo was stored in cans, its even less likely to be damaged

It doesn’t matter because they didn’t bother to try to recover anything

Also looks like Rick was headed to the garage pail kids. I thought it was the Kingdom at first but that guy blew a whistle since they don’t talk.

How can anyone want Negan to lose? He’s the best character on the show.
If Rick would have just joined the saviors they’d be shitting in high cotton now.

I really don’t care for how they’ve portrayed him. It’s been a disappointment since he arrived. Some backstory on him and his people could have helped.
Be glad when the show gets past him if it ever does.

Looks like they are just now getting to some Negan backstory. Kind of late in the game but they seem to be starting to give his "story" and his version of why he does the things he does. Kind of like they tried to add a little bit of complexity with the Governor at the end.

Negan mentioned to Gabe that the sanctuary was a mess under the previous leader when he first showed up and he took over the place.
I guarantee that Simon used to be the leader of the saviors(the one that ordered killing every male in the oceanside community)
And now that negan is in charge, that’s what he was referring to when he asked Simon if he was “backsliding”
Negan no doubt broke Simon the way he does his soldiers.
When Simon suggests slaughtering the entire hilltop, Negan became furious asking Simon if he was backsliding.
Negan wouldn’t have slaughtered entire Oceanside male population. He values people too much As a resource.
This is why Negan knows people will die if he doesn’t get back inside to keep Simon on a leash.

Those are some pretty interesting observations.

Would be pretty cool if true.

I’ve had some terrible names but BigL isn’t one of them.

This was brought up and discussed on Chris Hardwick's Talking Dead. Steven Ogg had a pretty hilarious reaction to this theory.
Watch it here

The bullets the previous tenant left in my fireplace when I moved in beg to differ.

Awesome
Is Steven ogg gay?
They asked him who he'd like Simon to have a romance with and he said morgan.

I'm pretty sure he's married. I know he has a kid.

Ah ok
Maybe he said Morgan to avoid the wrath of his wife when he got home if he said Maggie

I personally loved this episode. Thought the dialogue between Father Gabriel and Negan was great. Glad we are learning more about and humanizing Negan. Love how the bad guys all depends on what side you're on.
This show has really done a poor job of making Rick and his crew the good guys. While Negan is by no means a "good guy," he's reasonable and honest of the situation. People work and people protect. That's their roles and if you don't do one or the other, you don't get anything. Makes sense.
And it's absolutely true what he said. Rick got Abraham and Glenn killed. Well, maybe Daryl got Glenn killed, but Negan would not have did what he did had they not went on the offensive and killed his crew.
Anyway, I'm getting off topic, but I did enjoy this episode and interested to see if there is a double-cross with Eugene.
