What does the OT wear to a rehearsal dinner? Is it suit and tie formal, or just business attire?

If it’s in Denham Springs, starched jeans and a cowboy shirt.

Depends on where the rehearsal dinner is

A tuxedo t shirt. You can play it off as being a joke and hide your poorness at the same time.

Sports coat or blazer. No tie.
Pretty much no chance you'll be under/over dressed with that combo.

A suit.
And business attire is a suit.
eta: assuming this is a formal, sit-down setting.
