Yep, not a very bike friendly plus br crime is going to end up with almost all the bikes stolen.

We have this in Kennesaw, but we have and keep nice things here.

maybe because people are bitching about it out the gate and won’t ever give it a chance. Close-mindedness of BR on full display. Never change never change

Only in BR would the residents think promoting biking and bike trails are a bad thing. Also bitch when 80% is paid by a fed grant.

Well when you pretty much know it ain’t gonna work, you get skeptical.
And pissing money away on pointless programs is still pissing money away regardless of from where the money is coming.

Well then you pay for it big money grip. Open mindedness is easy when it’s on someone else’s dime.

Maybe we should put a vegan restaurant on Plank Rd. while we're at it

Never underestimate the smugness of the NOLA retards. They think they live in Brussels.

Bikes will be stolen, program shut down. Someone on the council will benefit.

It is not really about the health angle. This is a rental service paid for by whoever rents the bikes. The bikes will initially be paid for by the government. A private entity will make the profit.

Nobody offered Chauna a percentage. Chauna is being a squeaky wheel so she can get a little grease.

On behalf of your fellow tax paying Americans let me be first to say “you’re welcome” for the bikes that I’m sure will be well taken care of and won’t be stolen in any material amount.

BR might be one of the least bike-friendly cities ive ever went too

this is like step D in becoming a bike-friendly place

for some reason steps A, B, and C were skipped

P3s are one of the biggest scams going around. A private company receives an out-sized return on investment while unloading all the risk on taxpayers.

it really is... although I’ve heard they have made some strides over the last couple years. I haven’t lived there since right after Katrina for a while.

But connecting the mall, hospital corridor, LSU, downtown, spanishtown, bus terminal, all with bike trails is just common sense for s city that size that wants to attract younger tax payers.

that’s part of the problem. There is some inherent disdain for alternative transportation by BR folks. Never Change
