Looks to be started by Alyssa Milano. My facebook has been filled by it tonight.

I'm honestly concerned with how many female friends I have that have been sexually assaulted and/or sexually harassed.

Or how many of them consider that time they went to tigerland, got shite house drunk, then woke up to a guy they weren't happy with, to be sexual assault.

I've seen it on a few friends' statuses and had no idea what it meant. The girl's who've put it are NOT attention whore types either. To be honest, I'm shocked.

We need to adequately define several terms: sexual assault, sexual harassment, etc.

The women need to properly do this quickly or else all of their momentum will be lost in a sea of bullshite.

I don’t think a woman like the one from the Steven Seagal story was sexually assault or harassed. I don’t think a woman that has a coworker who is a little too touchy/handsy has been assaulted.

bullshite is how you get people claiming that every woman who has ever been slapped on the arse in a bar is an assault victim.

I’m not saying that some/most/all (maybe) of that shite isn’t inappropriate, but it doesn’t rise to the level of a criminal activity and it doesn’t alter the lives of any reasonable woman who experiences it. Hell, we’ve all been hugged by that overly affectionate drunk guy at the company Christmas party, and we’ve all had our unmentionables unwantedly grabbed by a hooker looking for a John on Bourbon... but we didn’t treat it as some big deal.

There's a whole town in Ireland for dyslexic people who fall into this category:

If you expand the definition of sexual harassment out far enough it will be 100%. A guy leered at me in college in biology lab, I’ve been sexually harassed. Well, yeah....

A bunch of hollywood people were raped by other hollywood people and now the hollywood women want to blame the rest of the non-hollywood world for their own situation that is almost assuredly most rampant in HOLLYWOOD because they cant blame the hollywood men because the hollywood men are the ones who they think keep them famous, relevant and rich with attention.

Can include anything from a guy in a passing car yelling "nice arse!" to violent rape.
That broad a range renders this meaningless.

A lot are just attention whores.

Why don't we males speak up too? I've been sexual harassed and assaulted by women before, all while at work. I've had women rub on my arms and chest while at work, and one chick even pinched my nipple. I never gave a frick and you don't see me bitching about it. If a guy were to do that to a woman, he is a perv though.

I got fired from my first summer job because some girl whose advances I rejected multiple times decided to turn the table and claim sexual harassment. They wouldn’t tell me who it was but I knew. At 17 I was so embarrassed and humiliated I didn’t tell anyone. Looking back I should have lawyered up and sued the frick out of them.

In other words, I put very little stock into sexual harrassment claims because half the time it’s all in the woman’s head. Sucks because it deligitamizes the authentic cases.
